An important announcement to all ICC Governmental Member Voting Representatives who wish to apply for a Code of Honor Scholarship to attend and participate in the Final Action Hearings during the ICC Annual Conference The ICC Foundation Code of Honor (COH) application database will go live on Monday, August 8th at 10 a.m. EST and remain open until Monday, August 29th at 5 p.m. EST.
The entire application process is online, and only completed applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is critical to apply as early as possible. For more information click here.
Complimentary Registration To The 2011 Annual Conference In Phoenix
Over 200 Chapters qualified for a complimentary registration for the Chapter President this year. If you were one of these fortunate Chapters, your President should have received an e-mail containing the “special code” necessary to register on Friday, July 7th. These Chapters are also entitled to a Chapter Education Benefit next year. All this, just for completing an Annual Report.

July 19, 2011 | Deadline Extended for 2011 Code Council Awards Nominations. Nominations are being accepted for the ICC Awards to be presented Oct. 30 - Nov. 6 at the 2011 ICC Annual Conference in Phoenix. ICC Awards will be presented in several categories to honor individuals and organizations for accomplishments and service to building safety and ICC. The submission deadline has been extended to July 29.
July 19, 2011 | U.S. CSB Recognizes ICC for its Continued Efforts in Health, Safety. The U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board (CSB) has issued a statement thanking the Code Council for its passage and ratification of the Emergency Amendment to the International Fuel Gas Code and the International Residential Code.
July 14, 2011 | BuildStrong Coalition Testifies on Capitol Hill. Advocating for support of the 2011 Safe Building Codes Incentive Act testimony focused on the need for strong building codes and enforcement, and legislation that would reward states with statewide code adoption and enforcement with an increase in post-disaster mitigation funding.
